The brand new K-Force Light Evo pushes material technology to the limit to create a hugely strong yet light carbon crank. This twin-ring specific version means no weight is wasted on unused mounts that would only fill up with dirt. Even the Torx-headed chainring bolts are lightweight aluminum, while our ABS system Asymmetric Bolt Spacing puts extra strength behind the crank arm, right where it's needed. The result is a very stiff, light crank it's just 495g. The chainrings are CNC machined from aircraft-grade 7075 aluminum, and ramped and pinned for optimum shift performance. With six gear combinations from a big 38/28-tooth set to a steep-climb friendly 34/24T, with a 36/26T version right in between there's one to suit every rider and wheel size. The redesigned, unidirectional carbon fiber arms are hollow for maximum strength and minimum weight. The drive side flows smoothly into the chainring spider as one extremely stiff piece, and there it bonds to a 30mm forged aluminum spindle that's tough enough to take anything the trail throws at it. The BB392 Evo axle sizing is highly versatile, and needs only simple adaptors to fit BB30, Press Fit, Press Fit 30 and English Threaded bottom brackets. It's ideal for riders wanting to take their upgrades with them to future frames. The K-Force Light Evo is available in 170mm and 175mm lengths, and as a Shimano 11-speed option.
