Remove the lid and take out the crock using their handles and clean them in hot, soapy water. You can also immerse them in water, but never use scouring pads to clean them. Rinse thoroughly. The crock pot and glass lid can also be washed in the dishwasher. However care should be taken not to chip or crack the crock-pot or lid.
