This Blackbird™ 4K HDBaseT™ Scaler and 2x1 Switch is an HDBaseT transmitter, which can distribute HDMI™ or VGA video signals to a compatible HDBaseT matrix or receiver not included . It can extend a 1080p 60Hz signal to distances up to 230 feet 70 meters or a 4K 30Hz signal to distances up to 131 feet 40 meters . It features bi-directional IR extension and bi-directional RS-232 pass-through, as well as RS-232 control signals to the switch or to a connected matrix or receiver using third party RS-232 control software not included . It supports bi-directional Power over HDBaseT PoH , allowing the transmitter or receiver to be powered by the other device. It supports advanced EDID management to set the output capabilities of an HDMI video source device.
