One Connect box The "One Connect" is Samsung's new "breakout box" which contains all connectors. The new F9000 4K televisions are equipped with the same box. Samsung uses this box to house all of the connectors and a lot of the hardware, which you then connect to the TV with the special One Connect cable. The advantage of this implementation is that it keeps the back of your TV clutter-free, and the box you can hide out of sight because the IR receiver for the remote is on the TV itself. Upgrading One of the main reasons for the One Connect box is that it can be replaced, it's a way of future-proofing its high-end TVs. Connectors All connectors have been implemented into the One Connect box. It contains two connectors for DVB-S satellite tuners, a combined analogue and DVB-T, DVB-C tuner, four HDMI inputs, a LAN port, optical and analogue audio out, component, composite and SCART inputs you have to use included adapters for. On the side you'll also find two USB ports. Samsung also includes an IR blaster, which is a small transmitter that can amplify the signals of the remote.
