Description
IMS-4210-E-NIST Wireless External Temperature Sensor for Ultra Low Temperatures The IMS-4210-E-NIST Wireless External Temperature Sensor monitors remote temperatures in freezers, refrigerators, etc. monitoring without running wires. The sensor's external probe has 12 feet of wire. The IMS-4210-E-NIST wireless node uses an integrated 2.4GHz wireless radio to receive temperature data from the sensor. Indoor range is 250 feet. With line-of-site, the IMS-4210-NIST works at even greater distances. The IMS series of wireless sensors has mesh networking technology so each sensor can be used as a wireless sensor/router or as a low-power battery operated sensor. When the IMS-4210-E-NIST is used as a router, greater distances can be realized each sensor/router adds another 250 feet of range to the system. The sensor includes 3 AA alkaline batteries for powering the sensor for up to 2 years end device mode . An optional plug-in power supply is also available then batteries function as backup power if main AC power fails.
