The sensor's 10 feet of leak detection cable can be coiled around equipment or under a raised flooring system. Add additional IMS-4216 units to increase coverage for larger areas. Battery Operated Only Cannot be Used As a Router. Place the sensor on the floor in the area to be monitored. The sensor comes with 3 AA alkaline batteries which will power the sensor for up to 2 years.
