Sensaphone 4-20mA Converter FGD-0220 J Type Thermocouple 4-20mA Converter allows use of a standard J-type thermocouple on any Sensaphone that accepts a 4-20mA input signal. Thermocouple not included. NOT Compatible with IMS System. Thermocouple to 4-20mA converter is useful when monitoring very high or very low temperatures that can not be monitored with a standard Sensaphone temperature sensor. Thermocouples are available in a variety of packages suited to your measuring application. Each thermocouple input module provides a single channel of thermocouple input which is filtered, isolated, amplified, linearised and converted to a 4-20mA output. Isolation is provided by transformer coupling, using a proprietary technique to suppress transmission of common mode spikes or surges. The modules have excellent stability over time and do not require re-calibration.
