Futon in the Northern Exposure collection by Viking The Northern Exposure futon frame is a true northern lodge design that adds a rustic look to a functional piece of furniture. Constructed of Norway pine, the arms are heavy 6 diameter clean peeled logs that use mortise and tenon construction to give it a true log futon look. Each piece has its own character as no two trees grow the same. The different knots and season checks are also unique to each piece. This log futon is available in both clear lacquer and honey pine finish. Matching log end tables, log coffee tables and log lamps are also available to complete this rustic setting. The back and seat sections of this futon frame are screwed and glued together, not stapled, which allows us to put a LIFETIME WARRANTY on not just this frame but every log futon frame we manufacture.
